Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin is often praised for its grand yet modern appearance and prime location on O'Connell Street. Guests frequently appreciate the spacious rooms, some of which offer great views and openable windows, even in the bathrooms. Breakfast stands out with its plentiful and varied options; however, some guests have noted that the snacks at the brasserie weren't quite up to par with the hotel's overall standards.

Our room overlooking O'Connell Street was great. Windows in the room opened so I could get fresh air. Even the bathroom had a window. The room was spacious enough for us. Water pressure was awesome. All the staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options and the tea was perfect.
Plastic floors were everywhere. Corridors and bedrooms are covered in a brown vinyl so the noise from people walking down corridors with suitcases and cleaners with trolleys was dreadful. Doors bang constantly. There is no soft closing on doors. I will tell everyone I know not to visit.

the breakfast was quite good with plenty of options, that was acceptable.
I was quite disappointed with the room. It felt rather basic. the flooring throughout the hotel seemed cheap, almost like a hospital floor. it was cold to walk on and did not look great, so it didn't give a grand impression.

i stayed for a few nights in a beautiful family room. the room was super clean with a comfortable bed. the bathroom was large with a big walk-in shower.
the plastic floors throughout the corridors and bedrooms seemed quite cheap. the noise from people walking down the corridors with suitcases was awful. there was constant banging of doors since no soft closing was installed.
